Statement of Faith

"I believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; on the third day, He rose from the dead; He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from where He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, in the one holy church, both visible and invisible, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen."

How It All Began

In 2019, after three years as an immigrant in the United States, Gabi faced a deep existential crisis, almost succumbing to depression amidst the many changes in her life. During long conversations with God and while contemplating the pine trees of New England, she prayed that her faith could be like those trees: firm and steady, even under the weight of heavy snow in the harsh winter. It was then that Gabi began diving deep into Bible study, also preparing herself to become a pastor’s wife.

In 2021, with the birth of her first child, motherhood brought a new perspective on how the Gospel could be applied to her daily life. Through that experience, she learned more about herself, dealt with sins that motherhood exposed, and put into practice all that she had studied.

Today, Gabi understands that to have an unshakable faith—like the pine trees that remain resilient in nature—one must be deeply rooted in Christ. He is our strength in a fallen world, and the Bible is the nourishment that sustains us in a society that is increasingly drifting away from God. The Pine Tree Project was born out of this desire to live and share a resilient faith, inviting everyone to cultivate a daily relationship with Jesus, living with purpose and fulfilling the mission of preaching the Gospel to our own hearts and to the world around us.
